Disturbing Tinder Messages Sent by Killer Before Strangling Grace Millane
Grace Millane, a young woman celebrating her 22nd birthday in Auckland, New Zealand, was tragically killed by her Tinder date, Jesse Kempson, on December 1, 2018. Kempson lured Millane with romantic texts before strangling her and concealing her body inside a bag. Her remains were discovered on December 9, two days after she was reported missing on December 2. Kempson, who has been sentenced to at least 17 years in prison, had a history of violence, including assaulting a previous partner and raping another woman. The heartbreaking story of Grace Millane is featured in the ITV true crime series "Social Media Murders."

Jaipur Man Drugged, Robbed, and Murdered by His Online Date
Dushyant Sharma, a 27-year-old construction middleman from Jaipur, met Priya Seth on Tinder. Sharma, trying to impress Seth, falsely claimed to be a wealthy chairman. Unbeknownst to him, Priya had a criminal record. On May 2, 2018, Seth invited Sharma to her apartment where she, along with two accomplices, drugged him. They demanded money from Sharma after discovering he was not wealthy and contacted his father for ransom. Despite receiving the money, they murdered Sharma, dismembered his body, and disposed of his remains along the NH48 Delhi-Jaipur Expressway.

Man Kidnaps Bumble Date, Holds Her, and Assaults Her for 5 Days
Zachary Mills, a 21-year-old man from Texas, was arrested on December 29, 2022, for kidnapping and assaulting a woman he met on the dating app Bumble. He held the woman captive in his apartment for 5 days, depriving her of food and water, and subjected her to assault. The victim managed to escape when Mills briefly left the apartment and sought help from a passerby. Mills was subsequently arrested and released on a $50,000 bond. He is currently under house arrest and faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, with additional charges pending as the investigation progresses.
